Configuration Mode is the default mode of operation when a WindowBuilder project is opened. In Configuration Mode you are configuring WindowBuilder and your PEG library according to the requirements of your target system. This is where you select the screen driver, color depth, screen x,y dimensions, and other settings for optional features that can be included in your PEG library.
Making changes here immediately affects the operation of WindowBuilder. For example, if you configure for 16-bpp (65K) colors, all the images used in your application are immediately re-sampled and converted to 16-bpp color depth. The Configure Mode is the link between the PEG library an your application.
